The Internet will also change how we express our political will – allowing groupings of like-minded people to come together for a common cause or opportunity. One such cause is the world referendum now taking place at www.VoteWorldParliament.org. This is basically a Yes/No question asking – “Do you support the creation of a directly-elected, representative and democratic world parliament that is authorized to legislate on global issues?”

As of earlier this year (2010) – 21,332 people have voted, and the votes are 95.5% in favor of creating a democratic world parliament.
